We ship via FedEx second-day air delivery within the Continental United States. There are additional shipping charges for any packages sent to Alaska or Hawaii. If you want product shipped to these two states, please call us before placing your order so we can provide you with the additional shipping charges.

We do not ship outside the 50 United States, nor do we ship to post office boxes.

Shipping Preparation

Davis Mountains 100% Organic Beef is aged for great flavor. Then it is frozen and vacuum-sealed to preserve the freshness and flavor. When we ship our beef to you it is packed with dry ice in an insulated container.

Shipping Methods

We will ship your order to you via Fed-Ex two-day air. Orders are shipped on Tuesday and Wednesday of each week. All orders received before 5:00 PM (CST) on our designated shipping days listed above, will be sent out the following shipping day. All orders received from Wednesday through the end of the week will ship the following Tuesday.

Track the shipment of your order

When we ship your order, we'll send you an email with your FedEx tracking number to track the progress of your package. If you are not home when FedEx delivers the package, they will leave it at your front door. We authorize FedEx to do this so that your perishable order is not taken back & held at the FedEx Warehouse.

Orders are not shipped Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday, primarily because of the limitations for two-day air pick-up and delivery. Plus, we don't want your package sitting in a warehouse over the week-end.

Please make sure your street address and contact information are complete and accurate so we can be sure you receive your order without delay.

WE FEED A SPECIAL DIET THAT INCLUDES ORGANIC FLAX AND WE ARE ABLE TO NOT ONLY MAINTAIN A BALANCED OMEGA 3 & 6 RATIO BUT INCREASE THE OMEGAS & CLA'S IN THE ANIMAL.THIS TECHNOLOGY HAS BEEN USED BY Davis Mountains SINCE THE LATE 80'S AND WAS TAUGHT TO US DR. JEFFERY JOHNS A CANADIAN SCIENTIST. WE INITIALLY USED IT TO PRODUCE A BALANCED OMEGA 3 & 6 OIL SUPPLIMENT FROM THE FAT OF THE OSTRICH.

Will eating organic foods improve my health & how.

A recent study into organic vs, non organic foods showed that by adhering to a strickly organic food program any traces of herbicides will disappear from a childs body in 5 days. The controled study had children eat non organic food and traces of herbicides showed up in the blood stream. They were then put on a all organic program for 5 days and the herbicide traces disappeared. They then went back on a non organic program and the traces of herbicides reappeared.

Can you recommend some of the best ways to cook Bison?

Sure. Here are some of our favorites:

Skillet - Heat skillet on high heat. Add meat and sear 2 minutes on each side, then bake at 350 degrees until desired wellness.

Cover & Bake - Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Baste meat with sweet butter, olive oil or other preferred preparation. Cover and bake 35 minutes per pound. Internal temperature should be 125-135 degrees Fahrenheit.

Grill - Sear meat for 2 minutes per side with a high flame. Lower flame and cover 3 minutes per side or to desired wellness.
